Practical on Board Training

The major advantage of a Cadet studying at the Cyprus Maritime Academy (CYMA) is the secure remunerated onboard practical placement. Every year, CYMA organizes the Adopt a Cadet event, where all major Cyprus based Shipping companies are invited to perform one-to-one interviews with our first year Cadets. The scope of this event is for the Companies to meet and select our Cadets for their mandatory 12-month onboard practical training.
